Tissot Camping chrome case year 1956 ref 292

This particular watch has a hand-wound 27B-1 movement (this movement caliber was produced from 1950 to 1961.  The movement works well and is signed with the name Tissot, along with serial number 3631627 dating from 1956.

The watch measures 32.5 mm in diameter excluding the crown and lugs. Earlier Camping watches had stainless steel cases with screw-down case backs, but the later ones, like this one, had chrome cases with snap-on case backs. The inner caseback is signed with the name Tissot. 

The signed dial is in its original finish that has aged, sometimes now called a tropical dial. Dauphine hands, a subsidiary seconds hand, and external minute indicators.
